Winter Warmers

This session is all about the delicious tastes of winter.  Embrace the chill of the season with heartwarming products and comfort food classics. Producers such as Villa Bumblebee, Blue Petal Botanicals, IncaFe, Magic T, Piccolo Morso, Meat To You, Food Hugger Gourmet and Fenton St Distillery will be happy to share their hearty sourdough breads, baking treats, winter tonics to boost the immune system, warming tea's, coffees and whisky's and amazing slow cooked meat pies to help inspire you to make Winter tastier!

Meat To You - producing top quality meat with care, traceability back to the farm and low transport miles, means it has the best flavour. Perfect for flavourful slow cooked meat, steak with your favourite sauce or in one of Meat To You’s signature pies!

Food Hugger Gourmet - beautifully complementing Meat To You products, Food Hugger Gourmet offer a range of sauces and rubs that will help to satisfy your taste buds and your stomach this winter.

Blue Petal Botanicals - Martina cultivates herbs on site in her stunning rural setting and uses them to create a variety of products from culinary and medicinal herb products to herbal tonics, drinks and honey.  Perfect for that extra boost in the chilly season.

IncaFe Organic Coffee Roasters - a local company with a big brand presence who ship their organic coffee beans internationally.   Visit them for a wide range of coffees options or one of their yummy hot chocolates.

Magic T - producing premium loose leaf tea’s with a range of flavours and different benefits.  Find your favourite flavour to savour on a Wintery Sunday afternoon with a good book.

Bumblebee Bakery - nothing beats cutting into a freshly baked sourdough loaf to enjoy with a healthy lathering of butter or to dip into a winter soup.  Taste Franziskas different sourdough flavours and find out where to get yours.

Piccolo Morso Bakery -   Julia, a third-generation baker, skillfully incorporates traditional family recipes into their delectable cabinet food, all crafted on-site. Her family’s pastry brand, Heritage Bakers, supply supermarkets throughout New Zealand with garlic ciabatta and pastry, which is also supplied to Australia.  Julia's upbringing in the baking world has equipped her with the expertise to create mouthwatering baked goods. Notably, their pies have recently earned major awards, and Julia is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to perfecting pies and other classic winter comfort foods.  

Fenton Street Distillery - now producing Whisky, it's the quintessential winter drink!  It’s warmth and rich flavours make it perfect to enjoy on a winter's evening, either neat or in hot drinks such as a Hot Toddy or Irish Coffee.  Talk to the Fenton team about their favourite way to enjoy Whisky and tips for drinking it.

Cracker and Graze - Rach embarked on her cracker-making journey about eight months ago, initially as a personal experiment to craft a delicious snack suitable for gluten intolerance, but after a friend encourage her to produce them to sell, it has since blossomed into a side business which she manages outside of her full-time job.  They are perfect to serve up on a winter platter or to enjoy with your favourite winter soup.
