Hop on a minivan and visit...

Magic T

Enjoy an explosion of flavours when you sample the beautiful collection of loose leaf herbal teas from Magic T.  Ehsan and his wife Frida, both from Iran, gather the best and purest of natural herbs & spices traditionally grown by farmers in Iran, Turkey, and India to produce their tea blends.  All of their ingredients are handpicked and shade dried before being hand-blended. To maintain products of the highest quality, they only run small batch production cycles. Ehsan will no doubt fill you in on his background as a voice actor and his quick wit is sure to give you a giggle or two.  Enjoy his company as you sip through their range of teas and taste all of the flavours that truly make this tea magic.

Villa Bumblebee

Have you ever tasted the full flavour profile of a traditional sourdough bread?  Franziska from Bumblebee Bakery has German bread culture running through her veins and is passionate about reigniting the love story between humans and their daily bread.  Come and visit her in her custom built bakery, where she bakes traditionally fermented sourdough bread and cookies and brews sparkling kombucha.  Learn about the significance of sourdough bread, witness different steps of the bread making process and sample an array of oven fresh bread together with a refreshing glass of homemade kombucha.  Seedy Rye Bread, sourdough bread rolls, walnut sourdough or Olive Oil Focaccia? Try them with fresh butter and find your favourite!

Egmont Honey

Egmont Honey began from humble beginnings. A beehive may seem like an unusual present, but for committed conservationist Toby Annabell, it was perfect. Gifted by his son James back in 2008, this hive sparked a passion for authentic manuka honey and a thriving family business.  Fast forward to today James, and the 50+ team, export to over 200 countries and territories around the world, proudly supplying global brands with Pure New Zealand Honey.  Join them for a tour of their factory operation in Bell Block and tastings with an explanation about the different variations of honey.

Juno Gin

Juno is the handiwork of husband-and-wife duo Jo and Dave James.  They met at primary school in New Plymouth and eight years ago, this unassuming couple, left their careers and combined their science backgrounds and passion for gin to start dreaming and experimenting crafting their ideal gin.  Along with the success of their multi-award winning gins, they have recently expanded their distillery to include a beautiful Cellar Door where they offer tastings and cocktail events.  Jo and Dave will love to welcome you into their opulent Cellar Door tasting room and give you a tour of their distillery. The will also fill you in on the production process and their love for gin and of course provide you with a tasting of their exquisite gins, explaining the different aromatics used to create each variation.

Lunch Venue - Quails Nest

Perched overlooking the Waiwhakaiho river valley, Quails Nest is where modern dining and Mother Nature converge. Local seasonal produce is on offer while soaking up the feeling of being mesmerised in nature.
