Join us for our Planted Powered session, where we celebrate the versatility of vegetables in our culinary creations.  Whether you’re exploring options for Meat-Free Monday or seeking new ways to incorporate more plant-based ingredients into your diet, we have the options and the inspiration!  Our talented producers and Special Events team will showcase the creative process behind crafting mouthwatering meals that are nutrient rich and use plants as the hero.

Little Liberty Creamery - creating an amazing selection of ‘ice cream’ flavours with organic cashew nuts as the base alongside cacao butter and coconut milk. They believe in letting nature take centre stage, with no compromise and as little fuss as possible.   Their frozen desserts are completely dairy free.

Taranaki Fungi - mushrooms can be used as a substitute for many different foods as they provide a rich taste that adds depth to dishes and can have a meaty texture.  Have a chat to Chaz and he may event be kind enough to share a recipe or two with you.

EatKinda - led by science and our passion for making great-tasting kai, EatKinda developed a plant-based ice cream that tastes like the real deal — creamy, delicious and hard to stop at one scoop. Whether you’re flexitarian, plant-based, dairy-free, vegan or lured in by their pretty packaging, we know you’ll love EatKinda.

Treasured Morning - a plant-based product with powerhouse ingredients such as chia seeds, almonds, hemp protein powder, goji berries, coconut and LSA.   Owner Liz has spent many years perfecting this beautifully packaged breakfast food to ensure it is packed with only the best nutrient-dense and high protein ingredients.  Have a taste and find out how this superfood can be incorporated into your day.

Bumblebee Bakery -  Franziska the Bumblebee baker, turns simple organic ingredients into delicious artisan food and beverages, baking traditionally fermented sourdough bread and cookies and brews sparkling kombucha in her home based premises.  Find out her favourite plant-based sourdough bread toppings!

Kahu Glen Farm -  Matt and Melissa became the proud owners of 500 feijoa trees in 2012. 12 years on they are Certified Organic Bio Gro, produce their own organic feijoa and apple juice sold at markets and local cafes and provide organic feijoas for many customers around Taranaki.

F n Lemons -  founded in 2022,  are passionate about preserving their abundant harvest of beautiful flowers and citrus.  Along with their dehydrated citrus and rim dusts, hear about how they grow and preserve their own edible florets.

Piccolo Morso Bakery - Julia, who is on the Executive Board of Baking NZ, is passionate about creating delicious and innovative treats. Notably, they offer an award-winning Vegan Korma Pie and many other tasty treats that cater to plant-based diets.  Julia has a wealth of knowledge on substituting eggs in recipes, and she’d be delighted to share her tips with anyone interested.

Honey Bear Gourmet Granola - Michelle, a renowned coach in health and nutrition, crafted her unique Granola blend to deliver a robust nutritional boost. Opting for extra virgin olive oil rather than traditional oils, her Granola offers the health-enhancing properties of antioxidants and monounsaturated fats, along with a rich, earthy taste. Infused with flavorful nuts like pecans, and sweet elements like dates and coconut, it serves as a delightful complement to a plant-based diet.

Mister K Gourmet Low Carb Krackers -  In their quest to find wholesome and nutritious options for their own consumption and their families, Mister K creators Lisa and Rachel realised that the beloved cracker could serve as an ideal natural snack.  However after countless hours searching for the perfect option they decided to create their own, ensuring it was packed with whole, unprocessed ingredients.  They are low carb with keto, paleo and vegan options.  Have a taste of their different flavours and find out the different ways they can be enjoyed.
